· Good News Adventure Camp was a roaring success. About 60 kids attended and though I don’t have final numbers, Nancy knew of over a dozen kids who had made a profession of faith. It was a delight to see the Word of God presented in a context of science information that said, “God’s Word is RELIABLE.” Crew members were hard working and flexible and we saw God actively work in lives of very troubled kids.
· With data from two large clubs still missing, we had more than 200 kids who heard the Gospel in our 5-Day Clubs, several of whom made a profession of faith.
· On July 10, Nancy & Ken’s youngest, Heidi, was married to Dr. Tawan Banchuen. His story is remarkable and I am sure that Nancy would love to tell you about him.
· One of the summer missionary volunteers introduced us to a cousin who desires TCE training and to work with a State College Club during her hectic PSU schedule.
· I visited a church near Pleasant Gap and spoke with a couple getting into their car. With no urging and minimal information, one of them wants to help with our clubs in Clinton County.
· It strikes me as amazing that our God is so gracious and powerful that He can use ordinary people like us to transform lives and even cultures. We are like beggars telling other beggars where to find food. He is not the grouchy, implacable god of the super religious and super strong, but the gracious God of sinners and of people who fail.
· In my computer resides a 4-generation picture with Barb and I at the top & Joshua cuddled closely in his dad’s arm. Now we are great grands of 3, two of which are our daughter’s step grands.

Please Pray

· Pray for the fair. Hundreds of kids usually hear the Gospel and many believe.
· Pray for new and old Good News Clubs to start on time and attract many to the hearing of the Gospel this school year.
